Microsoft has made it official - they have licensed Flash Lite 3 and Reader LE for their WinMo devices, ensuring a smoother Internet Explorer mobile experience.

A welcome relief for HTC and O2 users but when the change will take effect in real terms is uncertain. Skyfire and Opera Mobile 9.5 browsers already provide Flash 3 support and Silverlight is not expected until year end, so it’s an anxious wait for WinMo users.
