Wearable Phones from NTT DoCoMo
posted in Asian Market, Phone Concepts |

Long at the forefront of wacky gadgets, the Frontier Technology Research Group latest development project focuses on key-less gadgets that are controlled entirely by eye movement.
The research group for NTT DoCoMo is using a technique that allows he wearable head-mounted device to recognize electrical signals generated by eye movement to operate features such as track skipping, music volume and to ‘tell’ the camera where to focus.
While few of us would want this early prototype with us as we sashay around the Village no doubt we can expect this technology to come together in a way that will see eye-capture technology a boon for everyone, not just the motion impaired.
