Visible Vote App lets you track politicians

Visible Vote iPhone App

Whoever said “Apple iPhone apps are just useless time killers which distract us from more important things.”? Wait, was that me?

Well I guess I’ll have to be eating my words because with the release of the Visible Vote app we may now have the ability to contribute something with our iPhones.

This app (also available for Blackberry) will give you the ability to track the voting record of your the 111th Congress. You can follow your own districts and senators or look at other districts that interest you. Once something is up for a vote you get to see how well your representatives represented you. You can also record your own opinion on the subject and see how well your views match up with the guy or gal you did or did not vote for.

This is a fantastic tool against politicians who rely too much on the fact that following voting records is a tedious process. With Visible Vote now you can have a real idea if what your local politician is shoveling stinks or not.
