Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1

If your thirst for news on the forthcoming Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 is insatiable as mine you may want to take a big ol’ swig of the just released White Paper from SE.

The paper spells out a few of the features we can expect from the forthcoming model including: pre-loaded XPERIA panels featuring weather, finance etc, DLNA-compatible media sharing via ActiveSync or WiFi, video recording options (30fps MPEG-4 and30fps H.263, both VGA), and word that the only bundled browser will be Internet Explorer.

The paper also mentions Java ME and Google Maps and Exchange Direct Email by default, with wizards for Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo.

One possible let down is the conspicuous absence of support for 1700Mhz, but with this array of crowd pleasers, there’s little doubt that the whispered mentions of the X1 will soon become a roar.
