All you Sony Ericsson fans out there may have a date to mark on your calendars. A Sony Ericsson representative has been heard stating that the Idou is most likely going to be available for sale in October with a possible back-up date in November.

How did we hear about this? We’ve heard it through the grapevine and are passing it along. The source originated with the Swedish mobile site mobile.se and comes to us through Boy Genius reports. All reputable sources who we hope are telling the truth.

The Sony Ericsson Idou has been a hot topic ever  since it was previewed at the CTIA earlier this year. The phone is going to pack a whoppingly powerful 12 MP camera, the Symbian smartphone OS and much much more.

So let us cross our fingers and hope the date is true and then we can have a truly happy Hallowe’en.
