Samsung I7500 Android Phone Making Waves

The Samsung I7500, the first Google Android phone, from Samsung is starting to create some buzz. This isn’t just because it will be running the innovative Android OS, but by looking at the hardware we can see this is a serious phone.
Some things to consider for the Samsung i7500:
- Size - This model has an amazing screen size and on the whole it is a thin device which will be easy to carry
- Accelerometer - This isn’t anything new for mobile devices, but the fact that this accelerometer operates on any axis, even upside down makes this a huge advantage.
- 3.5 mm Headphone Jack - This is a must for almost every cellphone nowadays. We want our music and our phone calls to be jamming on the same device. Thanks for being smart Samsung.
- Camera - HTC’s Android phones have not been anything special on the camera front but the i7500 is packing a none-too-shabby 5.0 MP camera with flash. Impressive.
When HTC came out with the G1, they were almost exclusively relying on the Android OS to sell the phone and they failed to put effort into the raw hardware of the phone. Customer complained of the feel of the phone and some of the limited options.
Samsung has learned from this and they’re making a phone that people would be happy to carry no matter what OS it was running on.
