Samsung holds Omnia party plus one Jet

Samsung, in an attempt to continue their success with wildly popular i900 Omnia, is continuing the model name with the recent announcement of 3 major upcoming phones. The manufacturer who continues to venture further into the smartphone market us has started teasing us again with a new line of Omnia mobiles. The B7300 OmniaLITE, Samsung B7320 OmniaPRO, Samsung I8000 Omnia II and the non-Omnia name, but impressive nonetheless S8000 Jet.
B7300 OmniaLITE
This one is the original Omnia’s little brother. It features many of the same functions with a slightly weaker camera at 3 MP, but it expected to have a lot of the same advantages for a smaller price tag. The phone will also have great multi-push email access and also the Windows Mobile 6.1 OS.
B7320 OmniaPRO
The OmniaPRO is the counter part to the American born Blackjack. It features a E71/Blackberry fully QWERTY keyboard, for those of you who don’t have the patience or time to get used to touch typing. It looks to be a sleek model with 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi and much more
I8000 Omnia II
This model comes with an impressive 3.7″ AMOLED Display with beautiful resolution. It is very similar to the i900 and comes with an equally powerful camera at 5 MP and also all of the needed features such as Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G and smartphone technology.
S8000 Jet
The S8000 Jet is the phone announced which doesn’t come with the Omnia branding, but is looking just as impressive as the phones above. This model is heavily multimedia oriented and is also touting its motion controls as one of the most important features of the device. You can set quick shortcuts for gestures such as taps, shakes or other motions on the screen. If you want your camera to come up, all you have to do is give it a quick shake to the right and you’re ready to take a picture. How the phone will hold up to constant shaking still remains to be seen.
So that’s the big news from Samsung. They’re going in fierce and releasing four very powerful phones which are scheduled to be out later this year. The line-up is impressive, but can they sustain it? Is Samsung spreading themselves too thin. Just remember the I8910 Omnia HD only came out last week and now there are four new challengers?
What do you think? Can Samsung pull it off?
