iPhone Gets mobilePeople Search

mobilePeople liquidTM search on iPhone

With recent news suggesting that the majority of US mobile browsing originating on the Apple iPhone it makes sense that mobilePeople would bring its liquidTM mobile search to the device.

The search platform provides a UI for the Safari browser to search directories such as the Yellow and White Pages and offer a click to call option, access directions to a desired address, save business contacts and the ability to share results with friends or locate them on a map.

The mapping solution on the iPhone’s Safari is far superior to other browsers and will improve shortly with mobilePeople planning to introduce a client based on the recent SDK.

Quite reminiscent of the recent Relevantis solution but where is Google in all of this?
