Intel Concept Smart Phones

Intel Phone Concept

Chip makers Intel have started to put in their bidding to enter the smartphone game. Earlier plans were announced that LG and Intel were planning on collaborating on projects for future mobile devices, but now concept designs for phones running Intel’s technology are surfacing.

As seen in the picture above and the videos below it looks to be a quite long and thin, full touch screen device. The videos, like most concept phone videos, look fantastic and seem to concentrate on the mobile internet aspect of smart phone technology. Focus on chatting, GPS and internet browsing being all blend-able seems to be what the demos are going for.

Some analysts are excited about the prospect of Intel becoming more involved in the smart phone market and the competition and technological advancements they could offer would, no doubt, put a boot in the butt to any slacking off competitors.

It makes sense to us here at TimTechs as well. We all know what happens when a large computer manufacturer dives headfirst into the mobile market… *ahem* Apple. They have probably been the most influential player in most other mobile companies recent advances in mobile technology. If another major player would step in we are pretty sure that would mean yet again the cream would have to rise to the top.

We’re excited by the possibilities.

Check out the video demos:
