This innovative new concept phone from designer Quian Jiang consists of a series of interconnected collapsable fabric discs that respond to a series of gestures such as squeezing to hang up.

While smartphones seem to gain weight as features increase the Soft Phone manages to stock a full QWERTY keyboard and offers an alternative direction of electronic fabrics. Perhaps wearable devices will be de rigeur in the not so distant future for those not ready to implant them in their arms.
