Drill Hole in SIM to Unlock 3G Phones
posted in Other Mobile News |

A UK based unlocking service has released technology to unlock your 3G mobile phone by drilling a whole in your SIM card.
While drilling is necessary on some phones, with others you can simply place the Simable fake SIM under your own SIM and it will unlock the phone.
An advantage of such technology is that in avoiding a software unlock there is no impact on the phone or its software, if only the SIM were so lucky.
For a list of compatible handsets including Nokia N95 and Sony Ericsson P990i visit them here.
