Commodore 64 on iPhone
posted in Apple News, Software |

When you have had all the finger flicking fun you can with your NES emulator on iPhone what’s left? How about a bit of deep retro-love with the forthcoming Commodore 64 emulator?
The hell you say. But its so so near we can almost taste its pixelated goodness. Late nights of popcorn SIM City and Maniac Mansion beckon while we fret over Reagan’s America.
The future release by Stuart Carnie utilizes the Apple SDK to port into the iPhone, and while it still needs a few tweaks, and may require jail-breaking to run, but fingers crossed Apple will give this the thumbs up and allow it for release from the App Store.
