Biodegradable Bamboo Cell Phone Concept
posted in Other Mobile News |

Following in the tradition of the Nokia Remade and the Chute Smartphone, yet eerily reminiscent of the Day of the Triffids, the Bamboo phone is completely biodegradable and even contains Bamboo seeds to germinate once the phone breaks down.
The casing of the phone is made of renewable resources like corn and Bamboo which are made into a bio-plastic and, on top of these already impressive green credentials, the Bamboo features a hand crank to power up for calls and an energy efficient monochromatic display.
Of course once you plant the phone and the first germinations begin, the apocalyptic visions of John Wynham are mere formalities.
