Yowza!

Everyone knows times are tough right now and we’re all looking ways to keep our wallet from losing too much weight. This is where the great Yowza! Apple iPhone app comes in. This handy application lets you find coupons for whatever store you are in or whatever area you are shopping.

Just input your city or zip code and all relevant coupons will be made available to you to display on your screen. You can also use the GPS system to suggest coupons in your area. Then all you have to do is have the coupon scanned and then count your savings. Or you can let Yowza! count your savings for you with a nice savings counter.

Now you just have to be comfortable with handing your iPhone to a discontent WalMart cashier.

Viigo

This is an app most Blackberry users already have, but we wanted to keep you updated on this as Viigo has just added Craigslist integration.

This RSS aggregator lets you have instant access to all the latest updates for whatever news you’re interested. Be it sports, entertainment, weather and now Craigslist.

Add a Craigslist channel, such as housing. If you’re on the hunt for a new apartment, this will give you a quick jump on any apartments being advertised. It’s also great for keeping up on community events and whatever other subjects interest you.
