There was much excitement at
earlier suggestions of the
Apple patent that would allow
iPhone users to order coffee at Starbucks without queuing, but will a new patent add to this already sexy proposition?
The new application widens the scope of the previous patent allowing access to local content, ticketing, events and even reviews of local merchants the greater concept allowing users to act on their location-bvased needs directly from their mobile device.
While
not alone in this quest, Apple have thrown their hat in the ring of what promises to be a very lucrative location-based advertiser market.

itunes has been the dominant music/file application on Mac and Windows OS, and if a competitor is seriously thinking of crippling
apple’s product, then he has to either pull the targeted customer from their apple addiction (the itunes), or simply use that addiction for his own advantage , and this is what
BlackBerry is planning to do. Even though
Blackberry Bold focuses more on its core communications features–e-mail, messaging, and telephony . RIM is also preparing a new application called Blackberry Media Sync that will allow you use Apple’s iTunes to transfer files to the phone.
