Just when you thought a manufacturer might come up with something fresh Philips has seen an already crowded touchscreen marketplace and said me too with its Xenium X800.

The Xenium X800, or ‘e2e’ for “full edge-to-edge” touchscreen, is the latest in the iPhone-athon and Apple theft that modern innovation has become.

And they would have gotten away with it too, if not for the those pesky fingerprints gosh darn it.

Both the phones will feature 3.2 megapixels of corporate espionage temptation, 128MB of memory and both put Nokia front and center of the business user marketplace.

With rumor’s circulating that the E71 will make itself official tomorrow it may not be long until you can enjoy the QWERTY loving candybar. Watch this space.
