The concept phones from Esato are always impressive but this Sony Ericsson P3i picture is breathtaking. The photo gives the P3i full touchscreen UIQ phone the aura of a leaked spy photo. Kudos SE_cz.

For all those times when you’re out and you think ‘Wow! I wish my friends could smell this!’ Your prayers have been answered with the new ‘Smellphone’ from NTT Communications.
NTT will begin testing the technology this month which allows users to send fragrances to each other via their mobile phones. Users select a fragrance from a list and using infra red the phone transmits to received fragrance ‘recipe’ to the recipient emitting the desired smell from the ‘fragrance device.’
NTT sees the technology as a method of making communication more personal, allowing for instance a user to send flowers via their phone or accompanying animation.
If you think customized ring-tones are annoying now, wait until we have point and send smellphones. The mind boggles.
