“3G iPhone in 60 days” is just a rumor

A couple days after the technology columnist Walter S. Mossberg informed us that the 3G iPhone would be out within 60 days, he advised that he was simply making a prediction based on the price cuts and dried-up inventory.

“If I knew when this date was, why would I announce it in the middle of a sentence at the Finnish embassy, rather than report it in the Wall Street Journal?”

Samsung SCH470 Windows Mobile slider

Samsung has released the SCH-470, a high-speed Windows Mobile slider handset that sports High-Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA), 2 Megapixel Camera, Bluetooth, and Wifi.

Price Range: 600,000 and 700,000 won (about $616 to $718).

Nokias Tube: Nokias iPhone Rival

Nokia and other cell phone makers have been investing more time in their labs searching for an answer to the Apple iPhone. Finally, Nokia has announced Monday the new formula; Codenamed “Tube“.The device was not physically introduced, but a glimpse was shown through a slide show at the Evans Data Developer Relations Conference in Redwood City, Calif.,Tube looks similar to the Apple iPhone, and shares parallel features as well.

“It’s our first touch device,” said Tom Libretto, vice president of Forum Nokia.The company has not published the planned date of shipment for Tube.I hope it wont be any close to the previous UI they showed at the ” Mobile World Congress”
