Gold iPod For Golden Boy of Soccer

Gold iPod for David Beckham

The Beckham’s may often be referred to as the Golden Couple, if only by themselves, but now Beck’s midas touch has extended to an engraved Gold 32GB Apple iPod.

Gifted to the star footballer/soccer player by his English team mates for his 100th cap for the England squad the iPod also has his his name engraved on the back presumably to avoid mixups with other people’s gold iPods.

While most of us count down the days until retirement for our Gold watch payday Beckham, the highest paid athlete in professional sports, will no doubt be ruing the absence of a reflective surface on his overly heavy icebreaker. Posh Becks indeed.

3G iPhone in Months says ATT CEO

ATT CEO Ralph de la Vega

AT&T CEO Ralph de la Vega has stirred the blogosphere with hints that a 3G iPhone will be available in “months.”

During a presentation which covered introduction of Microsoft’s surface and discussion on 3G and 4G networks for AT&T he indicated that all of the carrier’s smartphones will be 3G within months.

If this is true this effects not only the squillions of Apple fanboys but also the just introduced Palm Centro.

The comments follow on from suggestions earlier in the week by a Bank of America analyst that the first 3G iPhone’s would becomes available in May.

The clock is ticking.
