While everyone was going quietly ga-ga over the iPhone’s bedazzling new look, will the same be true for the new ghetto-fabulous $80K Nokia E90 Communicator?
With 9.86 cts or 408 diamonds, 18 carat white gold and all Wall Street could want in portable communication the phone is undoubtedly a girl’s best friend but is this what the on-the-go Business professional has been waiting for?

Word
yesterday that Microsoft had bitten the bullet and paid licensing to have Flash available on Windows Mobile has been trumpted today by news the animation software will be coming to the iPhone.
Following comments by Steve Jobs that current versions of Adobe’s Flash software are unworkable on the iPhone Adobe’s Chief Executive Shantanu Narayen has confirmed the upcoming availability of a Flash Player for the iPhone.
In recent comments the Adobe head said “We believe Flash is synonymous with the Internet experience, and we are committed to bringing Flash to the iPhone.” He went on to say “We have evaluated [the SDK] and we think we can develop an iPhone Flash player ourselves.”
Jobs suggestion that “the cellphone version of Flash isn’t functional enough,” and “there’s this missing product in the middle [for the iPhone]” will see his words reach fruition with the planned release to be available through the iTunes App Store.
Now we wait.

Once hailed as the “Palm Killer” in 2002, when such a phrase wasn’t laughably redundant, the Dell PocketPC’s of yesteryear may be gone but are plans afoot to resurrect Dell’s affordable mobile devices?
With Palm devices all but dead, and PDA’s a memory, the manufacturer of affordable mobile devices such as the Axim is re-entering a radically changed marketplace.
Despite rumors that the new Dell devices would run on Android there is fresh speculation that they will be Windows Mobile focussed devices and run GPS.
While WinMo appears to be the flavor of choice for smart phone users and manufacturer’s such as O2 and HTC is this a missed opportunity? Time will tell.
