The dream smartphone Xperia X1 was officially announced by Sony Ericsson on February 10. In a press release they have stated that the X1 will be commercially available starting the second half of 2008 but recent rumors say that the Xperia X1 will hit the market only in February 2009. This rumor reminds me of sony ericsson P990i release . That is not good news for SE, it’s fans, or myself. When are we going to see a real iphone competitor ???!!

The sleek and slim 11.8mm thin Samsung SGH-i200 is a tri-band -GSM/EDGE (900/1800/1900Mhz) - candybar smartphone running on Windows Mobile 6.0, 2 megapixel camera (with front-facing VGA camera), QVGA display, and microSD slot for memory and HSDPA support. Too bad the Samsung i200 doesn’t sport Wifi, it lacks GPS, it’s only tri-band and boasts only a single band of UMTS/HSDPA (2100Mhz).

Samsung is expected to release the i200 commercially around April 2008
