The Nokia N82 will see a firmware upgrade with Nokia Maps 2.0 software featuring geotagging in Q1 2008 according to the official S60 blog.
The new feature allows photos taken with the N82 to be geo-located, that is to say, location information can be added automatically to image files once geotagging has been enabled.
Sure to be especially useful for dazed hangovers, hard to find car parks and awful for those in need of an alibi. The geotagging trail is a truth unto itself.
It was inevitable really that popular home phone alternative Skype would edge into the ultra competitive mobile market. Aiming to complete compatibility with Symbian S60 this year, the move is good news for owners of Symbian S60 phones such as the Nokia N82 and N95 who will enjoy 3G VoIP SkypeOut and Chat.
The application operates on S60 2.6 but there is work under way to have it ready for the 3rd edition, great news for WiFi enabled N80 owners, but what about the rest of us? We will keep you posted.

Couple of innocent enough looking phones right? Wrong! Warning warning, Toshiba has released robot phones that feed on the blood of the innocent.
Well maybe not yet, but given the recent blood powered phone it’s not impossible. But I for one welcome our new Robot-phone overlords.
Following on nicely from yesterdays Toaster phone, the Toshiba 815T PB robot phones actually do their best Optimus Prime impersonation, transforming and all.
If you’re not already stockpiling weapons and rations and planning to send bots back in time to save John Connor, then you’re probably more interested in the QVGA screen, 3.2 megapixel camera and 3G connectivity.
Unless you hail from the land that brought us Godzilla, i.e. Japan, then there may be a wait for a release date. But then again, they may be closer than you think.
